It seems like yesterday that I delivered a precious 8 pound 11-ounce baby girl. How is it even possible that she is now a senior at Independence High School in Frisco, Texas? People always warn you that the years of child raising fly by, and when you are knee deep in diapers and stepping on Polly Pockets you kind of wish it would. However, I can now concur that I literally blinked and she is now all grown up! her first steps, her first lost tooth, her first day of school, her first crush, her first breakup, her first day with her driver’s license, all moments that slipped away faster than I could grasp onto them. Although it makes my heart hurt to think she will soon be off to new adventures on her own, I am so proud of the beautiful young lady she has turned into. She wears her heart on her sleeve and will go to the end of the earth for her friends. She is smart and talented, and I know that God has amazing things in store for her. She has her dad’s work ethic and my creativity and dreams big mentality! I cannot wait to see where it takes her!
For her senior year we took a trip to London, England this summer and while we were there we decided the Ely Cathedral was the perfect backdrop for her senior photos. I could not be more in love with how they turned out. Addison, you are truly beautiful inside and out, and although I want to lock you in your room until you are thirty, it is nearing time to let you go, so you can spread your wings and fly. Congratulations on all you have accomplished this far, and praying for an amazing senior year! Love you!
